มีผู้ถามเข้ามาว่า โหนเจ้าแล้วจะได้อะไร?
ตอบ ก่อนอื่นอยากจะทำความเข้าใจในคำว่า “โหน” น่าจะหมายถึง กิริยาที่จับต้องวัตถุสิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งอย่างแน่นมากๆ อันได้แก่ คานไม้ คานเหล็ก หรือเชือก เพื่อรับน้ำหนักหรือนำพาจับต้อง พึ่งพาอาศัย เพื่อให้รอดปลอดภัย หรือเพื่อให้พ้นจากอันตรายที่กำลังเผชิญอยู่ หรือไม่ก็โหนข้ามจากฝั่งหนึ่งไปสู่อีกฝั่งหนึ่ง
ฉะนั้น คำว่า “โหน” หมายถึง ประโยชน์ที่จะได้จากกิริยาที่จับวัตถุนั้นๆ โหน
เมื่อความหมายของคำว่า “โหน” เป็นดังกล่าว
พุทธะอิสระ ก็ต้องขอตอบว่า ไม่เคยโหนเจ้า และไม่เคยคิดว่า การที่ลูกไทยคนหนึ่งทำหน้าที่ตามรัฐธรรมนูญหมวดที่ ๔ มาตรา ๕๐ ปวงชนชาวไทยมีหน้าที่ ดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) พิทักษ์รักษาไว้ซึ่งชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ และการปกครองระบอบประชาธิปไตย อันมีพระมหากษัตริย์ทรงเป็นประมุข
(๒) ป้องกันประเทศ พิทักษ์รักษาเกียรติภูมิ ผลประโยชน์ของชาติ และสาธารณสมบัติของแผ่นดิน รวมทั้งให้ความร่วมมือในการป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัย
ด้วยจิตสำนึกกตัญญูรู้คุณ กตเวทิตาตอบแทนคุณ จะกลายเป็นการโหน เพราะโคตรเหง้าบรรพบุรุษก็กระทำมาเยี่ยงนี้ตลอด
คือ เทิดทูน ปกป้องสถาบันอย่างจงรักภักดี และก็คิดมาตลอดว่า การเทิดทูน ปกป้อง จงรักภักดี หาได้มีแต่ พุทธะอิสระ กระทำอยู่แต่ผู้เดียวไม่ คนส่วนใหญ่ของแผ่นดินนี้เขาก็ทำกัน
ฉะนั้นผู้ที่ถามเข้ามาว่า โหนเจ้าแล้วจะได้อะไร?
ตอบอีกทีว่า ไม่เคยคิดว่าจะได้อะไร และก็ไม่ได้อยากได้อะไร
รวมทั้งอยากบอกผู้ถามว่า อย่าเอามาตรฐานความตะกละโดยสันดานของตนมายัดใส่สมองคนอื่น โดยคิดว่า คนอื่นจะต้องได้อะไรจากสิ่งที่ทำเหมือนกับตน ที่มุ่งหวังที่จะต้องได้
นั่นไม่ใช่พวกเราคนไทย ผู้มีหัวใจรักชาติ ศาสน์ กษัตริย์ อย่างแน่นอน

Someone has asked, “What do I obtain from “hanging on to” the monarchy or being an avid royalist?
Answer : First of all, I want to explain the word “hang” which probably means a tight grip of an object such has a wooden or steel beam for supporting the weight or depending on it for survival from danger, or for jumping from one side to another.
As such, the word “hang” means benefit from hanging on such object.
Because the word “hang” has such meaning.
Buddha Isara have to answer that I have never hung on to the monarchy and never thought that when a Thai performs his duty with grateful mind, it will turn into exploiting the royalism.
Chapter 4, Section 50 of the Constitution of Thailand states that a person shall have the following duties :
(1) to protect and uphold the Nation, religions, the King and the democratic regime of government with the King as Head of State
(2) to defend the country, to protect and uphold honor and interests of the Nation, and public domain of State, as well as to cooperate in preventing and mitigating disasters
My ancestors have always admired, protected the monarchy with loyalty. I have always thought that this is not what only Buddha Isara is doing, but majority people in this country also have admiration, protection, and loyalty for the monarchy.
So, when someone asked me, “What do I obtain from “hanging on to” the monarchy or being an avid royalist?
I would like to answer again that I have never thought that I would get anything, and I never want to get anything.
Also, I want to tell the person who asked this question. Please do not apply your standard of greedy nature to force other people’s thoughts. And please do not think that other people will have to gain something the same way you wish to gain.
This is surely not Thais whose hearts are loyal to the nation, religions, and the king.
