Caution towards all kinds of Dharma
June 24, 2021
Caution means
1. Physical caution
2. Verbal caution
3. Mental caution
Physical caution means consciousness to control boy not to sleep, stand, walk in the wrong manners, to correctly and completely do one’s works and actions, and to focus firmly on righteous actions.
Verbal caution means consciousness to control one’s speech to be honest towards cause, effect, person, community, and situation, and the speech must be honest.
Mental caution means consciousness to control one’s mind not to be aroused by any enticements. If one let one’s mind absorb all the enticements, it will become dirty and stained. Then, it will be difficult to clean it or make it focused on righteousness.
All kinds of Dharma mean body, speech, mind, giving, precepts, consciousness, concentration, wisdom, the Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path, the Chain of Phenomenal Cause and Effect, the Three Characteristics of Being, and nirvana (extinguishment of defilements and suffering).
These are called all Dharma which is established at one’s body, speech, and mind.
Comparing all Dharma with truths in our body and mind, we will realize that all these Dharma clean, purify, and get rid of hurdles towards enlightenment.
Moreover, all Dharma is like key or magic which can amazingly help release attachments of the cycle of rebirth which bind all living creatures in the chains of suffering.
Ultimately, all Dharma can enable people who firmly remain cautious to attain noble truths in the three worlds without much difficulty.
In brief, those who can stay firmly cautious, cannot lack the Dharma called consciousness, because consciousness supports one’s body, speech, and mind, similarly to parents who raise and protect their children from danger.
Consequently, if one had Dharma called consciousness well-established in one’s body, speech, and mind, one’s action, speech, and thought will not be wrong, defective, or difficult.
There are five benefits of consciousness
1. Consciousness is protection from harm
2. Consciousness helps restrain oneself from wrong path
3. Consciousness helps motivate oneself to continuously persevere
4. Consciousness helps recall oneself of responsibility
5. Consciousness warns us not to do, say, or think wrongly

2. People who do evil things but want to gain good results.
3. People who do little merits but want to gain marvelous results.

3. We should not be careless that we are still young, youthful, and we won’t get sick or die.
4. We should not be careless that we have secure jobs, good income, and we can do whatever we want, or can buy or want anything, we can spend carelessly.
5. We should not be careless performing our duties.
6. We should not be careless to gain more knowledge.
7. We should not be careless to accumulate and increase our moral practice.
When all of us remain cautious with our consciousness, we will attain nine prosperous outcomes as follows.

2. Overcoming the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death
3. Not falling into the states of misery
