หลังจากตระเวนไปแจกของขวัญ ตามโรงเรียน หมู่บ้านชาวประมงพื้นบ้าน แล้วได้พบว่า ยังมีเด็กนักเรียนที่พ่อแม่ตกงาน ฐานะยากจน พ่อตาเสียไปข้างหนึ่ง อายุเกือบ ๖๐ แม่ก็รับจ้างเล็กๆ น้อยๆ พ่อมีรายได้วันละ ๑๐๐ – ๒๐๐ บาท ถ้าวันไหนได้ออกเรือไปหาปลา ได้มาก็จะถูกเจ้าของแพปลาบังคับซื้อด้วยราคาถูก เพราะไปกู้เงินนอกระบบมาจากเขา หากไปขายผู้อื่นก็จะถูกหักดอกเพิ่ม ๕ ถึง ๑๐ บาท
ครอบครัวนี้ ทั้งบ้านมีรถจักรยานเก่าๆ อยู่ ๑ คัน ที่ลูกๆ ๓ คนจะต้องผลัดกันขี่ไปโรงเรียน หากพี่ไป น้องก็ต้องหยุดเรียน วันรุ่งขึ้นพี่หยุด ให้น้องไปเรียน เป็นอยู่เช่นนี้
โรงเรียนก็ห่างจากบ้านประมาณ ๓ กิโล
จึงสั่งให้เจ้าตั้มประสานจัดหาจักรยานมาให้ ๓ คัน ให้เม้าไปจัดหาซื้อข้าวสาร ปลากระป๋อง ไข่ไก่ บะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูป และเงินอีก ๓,๐๐๐ บาท ไปมอบให้ ๒ ครอบครัว
ครอบครัวแรกได้จักรยานไป ๒ คัน ลูกสามคนสามารถนั่งซ้อนท้ายได้
ครอบครัวที่ ๒ มีลูกหนึ่งคน แม่ได้รับอุบัติเหตุขาพิการพอเดินได้ สามีมีอาชีพวางอวนปูก็มีปัญหา เพราะออกทะเลไม่ได้ ลูกสาวเรียนอยู่โรงเรียนเดียวกับครอบครัวแรก วันที่พ่อออกทะเล ลูกก็จะไม่ได้ไปโรงเรียน เพราะไม่มีรถไปส่ง เพราะการออกทะเลต้องออกไปตั้งแต่ตี ๓ ตี ๔ กว่าเรือจะกลับก็ปาเข้าไป ๘ – ๙ โมงเช้า ความยากลำบากแบบนี้ พวกคนเมืองไม่มีวันได้สัมผัสดอก
ท่านทั้งหลายจะเห็นได้ว่า ความเท่าเทียมมันไม่มีอยู่จริงในโลกนี้
พวกที่พยายามออกมาเรียกร้องหาความเท่าเทียม ก็ควรจะลองมามีชีวิตแบบชาวบ้านชนบทแบบนี้ดูบ้าง จะได้รู้ว่าไอ้ที่พวกคุณเรียกร้อง มันห่างไกลจากโลกแห่งความเป็นจริง กี่ร้อยปี

After traveling to provide gifts to schools and villages of local fishermen, I also met children whose parents are unemployed and poor. Their father lost one eye and is almost 60 years old. Their mother works for wages. Their father earns 100-200 Baht. If any day he goes out to capture fish, fish wholesaler will force him to sell them in cheap price because the fish wholesaler is the loan shark. If he sells fish to other people, he will be deducted additional 5-10 Baht interest.
This family has an old bicycle which three children take turn riding to school. If the elder sister rides the bicycle to school, her younger brother and sister need to stay home. The next day, if the elder sister stays home, then her younger brother or sister can go to school. It goes on like this.
The school is three kilometers far from home.
So, I told Tum to buy three bicycles and told Mouse to buy rice, canned fish, eggs, instant noodle, and give 3,000 Baht to the two families.
The first family received two bicycles, enough for three children because there are seats behind riders.
The second family has one daughter. The mother had accident which made her legs disabled, so she walks in difficulty. The father normally captures crabs but cannot go. The daughter studies at the same school as the first family. Whenever her father goes out to the sea, she will not go to school because there is nobody sending her to school. Her father leaves for the sea at 3 or 4 a.m. and comes back at 8-9 a.m. People in urban areas have never experienced such difficulty.
You all can see that equality does not exist in this world.
Those who try to call for equality should try to live in the suburbs like this. So, you know what you are calling for is far from reality.
